What is Nowspace meditation?
Nowspace meditation is perfect for anyone seeking a modern approach to meditation. Nowspace meditation is also known as the Path of Joy and comes from an ancient, effortless teaching of truth; a series of mechanical techniques to free the mind of all limitation.
The effortless techniques we teach are not mantras or breathing exercises, but are know as Ascension Attitudes and are based on Praise, Gratitude and Love. When practiced regularly, they can re-write a lifetime's habit of judgment and negativity and change one's relationship with the mind. Best of all, no belief is required! It is a flawless science of self discovery and a joyous journey inward.
Ascension Attitudes
The four Attitudes taught during the Weekend Course are called Ascension Attitudes and are completely mechanical, involving no belief whatsoever. They can be applied by, and will work for, anyone at any time. The Attitudes are unique in that they can be used eyes closed in meditation and also with the eyes open throughout the day.
The Ascension Attitudes allow anyone to easily ascend, or rise above, the chatter and chaos of the mind, into a direct experience of Inner peace. They can be used eyes closed, for deep rest and healing, and eyes open for clarity, focus, and being present throughout the day.
This path is available to all who seek the direct experience of Inner peace, of unbounded joy, and living life in the present moment. Ascension is completely experiential. This is about you, and your exploration of the Truth that exists within.

How does Nowspace meditation work?
Throughout our lives, we develop many ideas and judgments about ourselves and others. These are usually based on past experiences and affect how we live our lives now.
Throughout our lives, these ideas and judgments replay over and over in the form of repetitive thoughts, or "chatter". Did you know that the average person has up to 100,000 thoughts constantly running through their mind every day? We are not even aware of most of them but they have an influence on how we feel and what we achieve. These thoughts are the main source of stress in our lives.
Thoughts about the past can induce sadness, regret, procrastination and even anger. Thoughts about the future can induce fear, anxiety and hopelessness. When you think about it, all we really have is right now, this exact moment in time. The past is gone and the future never unfolds as we think it will. Nowspace meditation enables us to disengage the mind from thinking about the past or the future, and focus on what is right here, right now.
Nowspace meditation enables you to recognise and let go of those repetitive thoughts that are based in the past or future. Once you become practiced, you will start to feel an increasing sense of calmness, or stillness of mind, because no longer are you dwelling on those past or future thoughts that are a common source of stress. Now that has to be good, right?
Everyone is capable of achieving this and throughout the weekend course you will learn to experience increasing moments of stillness.
With regular practice of the Nowspace meditation techniques, the ideas, judgments, and the stress that goes with them will begin to fall away naturally.
These tools enable anyone (there are no exceptions) to live in the moment and be more content in their lives. Nowspace meditation doesn't require you to sit in any specific meditation position; you can sit or lie any way you like, just as long as you're comfortable.
Nowspace meditation is taught over a weekend by qualified teachers. If you would like further support of guidance, or you would just like to practice Nowspace meditation with others, there are weekly meditation meetings as well as organised retreats from time to time.
